Anyone watch the Cherry Roubaix Criterium series?

What a blast to finally see serious road racing right here in downtown Traverse City. The organizers should pat themselves on the back for a very well run event. Exciting to watch too.

They could have the crit on Saturday and road race on Sunday. It would be fun to see more pros in the tcrit. They would already be here. I talked to the director of the Bayshore running race and they didn't really want the bike race moved to their weekend.; ▶ Reply to This

Not the most exciting place to be, but it was still cool. I have only raced once on a mountain bike and thought about entering the crit just for fun. Sure glad I didn't! I would have been the guy way in the back that just decided to pull out of it. They were haulin' through the streets of TC! It would be cool to see some more pros in it, overall I think the feedback was good so we should see the numbers increase each year.; ▶ Reply to This

When I saw the C-R event ad's I changed my departure date and came up a day earlier....AM I GLAD I DID!!! Great event and I hope the people of Traverse City really get behind this one! I've seen other posts about this mention possibly changing the date to run close to the TdL, personally I like it when it is....another possibility I suppose would be right around the same time as RAT. Anyway....nice event and LOTS of photo opp's! If this link doesn't work just type it into your computer yourself and enjoy the day all over again!
